The unique perspective Marci offers businesses is molded by her diverse professional experiences in marketing, sales, and service. She has worked in various industries including fitness, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, medical equipment, automotive, and more.
Her experience with hiring, leading, managing, and training sales and marketing teams nationally and globally has allowed her to work directly with C-Suite executives of Fortune companies and owners of multi-million dollar private corporations while developing marketing professionals in North America, Europe, Africa, and UAE. She owns SYNC Web Editor, a web design software that is a critical technical component of SYNC Digital Agency.
Marci is also a fierce advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion within the design industry as the founder of Black Digital Designers, a professional development community to improve design skills and business acumen for creative professionals in order to increase earnings and decrease economic disparity within the Black community. She is also involved in the community as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, Global African Business Association and Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network. Marci also gives back to the community as a marketing mentor through Acadium. She has mentored more than 10 apprentices who are all gainfully employed as professional marketers and successful freelancers.
She started her career as a child, being cast in a commercial and a Christmas special for WDIV in the 1980s. By the age of sixteen, she had already worked as a billing rep, a media intern, and a journalism apprentice for WDIV, Comcast and Detroit Free Press, respectively. Her STEM talent developed simultaneously with her creative ambitions. She participated in the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program, studying radio tv electronics in middle school and completed the Math, Science and Applied Technology curriculum with honors at the esteemed Martin Luther King, Jr. High School.
Marci went on to discipline her talent with a thorough college education that includes a BA in Advertising from Michigan State University, a MBA in Marketing from University of Phoenix, and a Digital Graphic and Web Design Certification from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has studied many marketing and sales experts such as Russell Brunson, Ryan Levesque, Liz J. Simpson, Anthony Iannarino, Dave Kerpen, Lamar Tyler, Jereshia Hawk, Jordan Gill, Monique Mensah, and Ashley Kirkwood.
